Setting up private video and voice calls on FansyMe is quick and easy. Head to your Messages & Video Settings — you’ll find these under Settings > Messages & Streaming, or by clicking the “tool” icon at the top of your messages inbox. From there, you set your price per minute and a minimum call duration.
Example: $10 per minute with a 5-minute minimum.
When a fan calls you, they’re charged $50 upfront for those 5 minutes.
- If the call ends after only 1 minute, the fan has 4 minutes left over.
- These leftover minutes become video call credits — but only for a limited time.
- The fan has 30 minutes to reconnect and use up the remaining credits. After that window closes, unused credits expire.
This 30-minute window only applies to credits from an interrupted private call.
Credits a fan buys through your shop, or receives through a gift link, work differently — they follow their own expiry date, which you set yourself in your creator settings. That expiry has nothing to do with the 30-minute reconnect window above.
This ensures you always receive at least your minimum rate, while giving fans a short grace period to finish out their call if the connection drops — rather than open-ended flexibility to use leftover minutes anytime.
