What are collections?

This post is also available in: Deutsch (German)

Collections on FansyMe #

Collections are a way to group multiple free posts into one curated list.

They are designed to help organise content, improve discovery, and allow the community to highlight posts around a certain theme or topic. Collections are not paid content and are not meant to replace subscriptions or PPV.

Both fans and creators can take part in Collections.

For Fans #

What exactly is a Collection? #

A Collection is a list of free posts that belong together in some way.
For example, a Collection could focus on a specific creator, style, outfit, theme, or moment.

Instead of scrolling through profiles, Collections help you find related content in one place.

What kind of posts can be added? #

Only free posts can be added to Collections.

The following posts cannot be added:

  • subscriber-only posts
  • PPV (pay-per-view) posts

This rule applies to everyone and helps keep Collections accessible and fair.

Can I add posts to a Collection? #

Yes.

  • Fans can add free posts to Collections
  • To prevent spam, there is a daily limit of 5 posts per day per user

This limit applies to both fans and creators.

Can I create my own Collection? #

Yes, fans can create Collections.

However:

  • Every new Collection must be reviewed and approved by the FansyMe admin team before it becomes public

This ensures quality, relevance, and compliance with platform rules.

What happens when I create a Collection? #

When creating a Collection, you choose how it should be handled:

Option 1: You are the moderator #

  • You can remove posts from the Collection
  • You are responsible for keeping it clean and relevant

Option 2: You are not the moderator #

  • You submit the Collection without moderation rights
  • If approved, FansyMe takes over moderation
  • The Collection becomes community-managed under platform guidelines

After approval #

Once approved:

  • The Collection becomes visible on the platform
  • Users can add free posts within the daily limits
  • Moderation follows the option chosen during creation

For Creators #

What are Collections from a creator’s perspective? #

Collections are a way to organise and showcase free content in a structured way.

They help fans discover your content more easily and highlight themes without putting content behind a paywall.

Collections are meant to support discovery, not replace monetisation.

Which posts can be added? #

Only free posts can be added to Collections.

You cannot add:

  • subscriber-only posts
  • PPV posts

This applies to creators and fans alike.

Can creators add posts to Collections? #

Yes.

  • Creators can add free posts to Collections
  • There is a limit of 5 posts per day per user

This keeps Collections balanced and prevents misuse.

Can creators create Collections? #

Yes.

  • Creators can create Collections
  • All Collections require admin approval before becoming public

Approval helps ensure Collections stay useful, relevant, and compliant.

Moderation choices when creating a Collection #

When creating a Collection, creators can choose:

Be the moderator #

  • You can remove posts from the Collection
  • You actively curate the content

Do not be the moderator #

  • You submit the Collection without moderation rights
  • If approved, FansyMe manages and moderates the Collection

Why use Collections as a creator? #

Collections help you:

  • organise free content clearly
  • improve discoverability
  • guide fans toward your profile
  • participate in community-driven discovery

They work best as supporting tools alongside subscriptions and PPV.
